Green Coffee |
The first customer of the pipeline will be the
Mt. Everest Cafeteria and Luncheonette, to be built by a conglomerate of developers on the
top of Mt. Everest. The restaurant will purchase 50 million gallons of coffee annualy, 45
million of which will be dumped down the mountainside and used as a tax writeoff to fund
the venture. A spinoff of this venture will be the mining of iced coffee deposits on the
slopes of Mt. Everest.
Existing oil pipelines in Siberia will be used to carry the coffee. Cleaning and refurbishing the pipelines will cost 2 billion dollars, far more than the cost of constructing a new pipeline.
